Our users are treated to a central file server known as theWarehouse. It is a dual 1GHz Xeon Netfinity 340 with an Adjile Jaguar RAID 5 sporting 2200 GB of space and a 1000BaseT network connection. The OS is a customized configuration of Red Hat 7.1. It serves Macs with netatalk, PCs with samba and Linux clients with NFS. A second Netfinity 340 serves as the heartbeat failover. It is connected via both serial and Ethernet interfaces. An APC Masterswitch Plus attached to this Ethernet interface handles any STONITH requests should the need ever arise.
