Heartbeat 2.x "v2 CRM" mode has been superseded by Pacemaker, so if you have been looking for documentation or examples, try the Pacemaker Documentation, specifically the Configuration Explained documents.
More recent Information and Documentation about Heartbeat 3.0 can be found in the Linux-HA Reference Documentation (always a work in progress...)
Although you are highly encouraged to upgrade to Pacemaker 1.0, if you cannot, or would rather not just yet, upgrade to Pacemaker, the Documentation For Older Releases section on that page still has has relevant links for you.
The Pacemaker 0.6 version is functionally equivalent to the CRM that had been included as part of Heartbeat 2.x, so the Configuration Explained (0.6) applies to the Heartbeat 2.x CRM versions.
